FANS SHOW UP IN LARGE #'S FOR SETANTA SPORTS LAUNCH PARTY
On December 13, 2008 at GameOn Fenway, over 100 soccer fans gathered to watch Liverpool FC take on Hull City AFC and to celebrate Setanta Sports’ availability on Comcast Digital Cable.
Doors opened at 9:30 am to an early crowd of Liverpool supporters. The first 50 guests through the door received a special gift bag! Additionally every guest was entered into a raffle for a free one-year subscription to Setanta Sports VIP Broadband Service.
The launch party was open to people of all ages and guests enjoyed a free brunch buffet compliments of GameOn!
Throughout the day terrific raffles and auction items were bid on to raise money for the Mass Soccer Association.
A 16 team FIFA 2009 tournament took place on the Nintendo Wii system with the top three finishers receiving great Setanta Sports prizes.
New England Revolution star Kheli Dube also made an appearance to hand out awards to the Bay State Soccer League Champions and to mingle with guests.
